Buhler to introduce new products in Regina, SK and Westgate, IA

Winnipeg, Manitoba
November 29, 2006

WINNIPEG, MB – Buhler Versatile Inc., a division of Buhler Industries Inc. (TSX: BUI), and Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) have entered into a long-term agreement that will result in Cummins engines powering Buhler 4WD tractors until at least 2011.

“Buhler tractors have a proven history of reliability and durability,” says Craig Engel, President of Buhler Industries Inc. “We’ve enjoyed a close relationship with Cummins for many years and are excited that Cummins engines will power Buhler 4WD tractors for years to come.”

“We’re excited about this long-term agreement,” says Ric Kleine, Cummins Vice President, Off-Highway Business. “Our QSX and QSM engines have proven track records of durability and long-term performance that Buhler customers appreciate and demand. Cummins’ continuous investment in our proven products and technology goes a long way in enabling farmers to achieve the highest uptime at the lowest possible cost at every emissions level. Cummins is constantly focused on providing engine platforms, customer support and engine technology to the agriculture market better than anyone else.”

Cummins QSX and QSM

The powerful and dependable Cummins QSX engines will supply the power for the HHT (High Horsepower Tractor) Series, including the 435, 485 and 535. The 2000 Series 4WD will use the Cummins QSM engine in the 2290, 2335 and 2375. Cummins QSM and QSX Tier 3 engines are virtually identical to their Tier 2 predecessors, meeting the stringent Tier 3 NOx emissions requirements by optimizing the in-cylinder combustion system and without the need for any additional emissions subsystems. The Cummins approach to Tier 3 emissions reductions ensures a high level of reliability. Both engines have a proven track record of excellent fuel economy and are approved for B5 biodiesel in a continuing effort to support new fuel initiatives.

2007 model year Buhler 4WD tractors will proudly display “Cummins Power” badges on the hood, and Buhler is the only tractor manufacturer with 4WD tractors exclusively powered by Cummins engines.
