Service Parts Buyer - Winnipeg, MB

Buhler Industries Inc., a leading and growing manufacturer of farm equipment, is currently accepting applications for a qualified Service Parts Buyer.

Responsible for ordering parts for the Service Parts department and warehouses across North America, implementing appropriate purchasing strategies and negotiating to ensure high quality suppliers that can meet cost and delivery requirements. Issuing/expediting purchase orders, following up on order status, updating pricing and purchasing information, submitting RFQ’s to vendors, expediting delivery of purchase goods and services, and liaising with Engineering, Quality and Production in order to initiate, develop and implement product cost savings.

A PMAC/APICS designation, and/or a minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment is required. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, in combination with the ability to work in a fast paced environment while meeting strict deadlines are required. Experience with MAPICS and AS400 are definite assets.
