Logistics Coordinator - Winnipeg, MB

Buhler Industries Inc., a leading and growing manufacturer of farm equipment, is currently accepting applications for a Logistics Coordinator.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing and overseeing the management of the logistics functions within the company. The successful candidate will complete mode, carrier, and consolidator selection as well as negotiate rates and expedite shipments. You will ensure compliance with Canadian and US customs regulations and tariffs for documentation purposes. Other responsibilities include maintaining NAFTA, C-TPAT & PIP programs and executing all administrative duties involved with these customs initiatives, and decision making regarding approaches to SIMA, ADD/CV and other trade regulations affecting business and claims for all divisions of the company. In addition, you will liaise with Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and customs brokers and officials, and assume the duties of the Logistics Manager when required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of logistics, distribution or carrier experience. Customs experience (including both imports and exports), freight forwarding experience, and sound working knowledge of NAFTA, C-TPAT and PIP is required. You will have superior attention to detail, as well as organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast paced environment is essential.
