Electrical Design Engineer - Winnipeg, MB

Buhler Industries Inc., a leading and growing manufacturer of farm equipment, is currently accepting applications for a qualified Electrical Design Engineer.

As a professional Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience, you will be involved in designing and developing vehicle schematics and associated wiring harnesses as per system requirements. In addition, you will provide assistance with system troubleshooting and diagnostics, download various software programs and calibrations, and liaise with suppliers to select required hardware components.

The successful candidate will have an Electrical Engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. Working knowledge of 12 V off-road vehicle systems, and familiarity with typical industry connectors, components, hardware modules, J1939 CAN bus and multiplexing systems is required. Experience with PLC ladder logic and C programming, strong computer skills including solid working knowledge of AutoCad 2-D and AutoCad Electrical, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment in order to meet strict deadlines is required. A background in agricultural equipment would be considered a definite asset.
