Design Engineer - Morden, MB

Buhler Industries Inc., a leading and growing manufacturer of farm equipment, is currently accepting applications for a qualified Design Engineer.

As a Design Engineer you will be involved with the design and prototyping of agricultural equipment. This position requires you to apply your AutoCAD/Inventory skills to new equipment design projects. Some of these projects include updating existing designs, drafting and layout of new designs, creating and updating Bills of Material while providing support to production. An agricultural background with AutoCAD, Inventor and MS Office would be a definite asset. A minimum of 3 years experience required.

Mechanical Engineering Degree or experience equivalent working in an industrial maintenance environment
Provide technical expertise and leadership in areas of machine design
Effective oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with various groups within a manufacturing facility
Develop and maintain Drawings, Bills of Materials and Routings
Able to work independently under minimal direction; using sound judgment and decision-making skills
Must work well under pressure and be able to prioritize a varying number of tasks
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy
